>>53977532Nah, I get it. Lyra kind of cemented in their dynamic. It ultimately doesn't amount to anything, since Ash fucks his Pikachu in the last episode, but I appreciate why Pearlshippers support the pairing they do.
In terms of the episode, Dawn wins her fifth ribbon, cementing her place in the Grand Festival. They really seem to be setting up Jessie to have a few more wins before that happens, so I'm looking forward to that. Jessie's appeals are always cool and interesting, definitely different from all of the main cast who seem to go for making their attacks explode and shower sparkles everywhere. I don't hate that type of appeal, but the fact that Jessie always does something completely off the wall makes me look forward to when she's in Contests. In terms of math, Dawn's tenth Contest is episode 159 and May's is episode 152. Battle Frontier started in earnest at this point, so May will have one like every five episodes, and this will presumably be Dawn's last until the Sinnoh Grand Festival.
