Obviously a lot of us who like girls latched on to Latias, as well as saw how much she cared for Ash and we dwell on that. I've never met a girl who was really into Latios, though I have met one who likes Greninja a lot.
Latios was kind of the concerned brother figure, and the biggest hero of the movie of course. But the fact that he died is probably what stopped a lot of people of imagining a future or revival with him.
Plus, the movie drilled in that brother/sister dynamic so well that whenever you see any Latios and Latias together romantically you kind of automatically assume it's incest. lol
Latios x Bianca would have been super cute had he survived. :3
