>>13032595i kind of wing it when it comes to proportions and stuff, but this has its price since i end up messing up on some things (in general legs end up way too long, head too big, etc) but i can at least spot whats wrong with other drawings. but correcting them is hard. it's like trying to rephrase a complicated sentence to make it sound better without possessing a full vocabulary needed to make the sentence look appropriate.
this is my pen setting, assuming you're on SAI. to make it smoother i use the smoothing/stablizer tool at the top right. i set it on S-4 which is extremely slow. rarely do i put it on S-1 or S-7 though. my hand isnt steady and i have to go slow since i hold my tablet right in my lap, which makes it hard to move my arm around. that's just me though.
also: the base of the tail needs to be a little bit wider and then smaller toward the tip. the middle is looking a little chunky on your sketch. and also move the arms a little bit to the left. otherwise, there's noticeable improvement. baby steps, anon. baby steps.
