What playstyle do you aim for when you do the Battle Factory? I always ended up doing the level 50 set, it was more fun winning with weirder teams like Purugly/Kabuto/Haunter than being pressured to pick more obvious winning teams on open level.

No fucking thanks. But Pokestars was kinda cool.

Battle Tower/Plaza/Maison are the least interesting of battle facilities, but lazy ass Game Freak goes for them first.

I for one, LOVED playing the quirkier Frontier facilities, especially Battle Factory with my friend. Just imagine being able to play these other facilities with AND against friends and people online.
