I did another run of Yellow Legacy. Tauros is much easier to find/catch now. Gyarados having Fly is so nice during and outside of battle. Two things to keep in mind if you're planning to use a Jynx in this romhack. One, if you're catching a wild one in the Seafoam Islands, don't catch the level 40 ones because they no longer have Lovely Kiss. The floor with Articuno has the best odds of finding Jynx in general. Two, the ingame trade for a Poliwhirl was brought back but it's in Saffron now, which means you'll have to wait until clearing Silph. before you can get it.
