>>51415016Usually the "first mon per route" is amended to "first mon of your monotype per route". Dupes Clause I think is usually enforced across the whole run. Some people add on level caps and such so you can't just grind past a gym who counters your type.
This chart shows monotypes for every game, the one thing it doesn't show are trade evos. Any game with at least 6 viable encounters and an S or A could be checked out, with maybe the exception of BW's Fire Water Grass runs due to how the first gym works in that game
