>>40941515The way I see it, there are two sides to this coin:
1. Many Pokémon are sentient beings with intelligence rivalling that of humans. In the anime, Pokémon understand human speech and can communicate with humans nonverbally (and some verbally like Meowth, Mewtwo, Jirachi etc) and therefore could theoretically consent to sex. This is further supported by the Pokedex entries of the Gardevoir line, which describe them as highly intelligent empaths that are deeply in tune with human emotions.
2. If Pokémon are in fact simple animals like you say, "A lesser being. A wild animal. Property to use as we see fit." then we should be able to fuck it right? We freely kill and eat animals, do testing on rats or monkeys, keep livestock in cages in inhumane conditions until they're ready to be slaughtered, so surely it's not that much of a stretch to say that it's no less ethical use them for sexual or emotional gratification as well?
Point is, animal or not, I should be allowed to fuck Incineroar.
