But even if that wasn't the case, and everything is a recursive loop, it still doesn't explain the time chicanery. Again, if the professor has the white book, that means they don't have their copy of the Scarlet/Violet Book, which means the whole chain of events that happen in the game simply cannot happen, because that book is vital to everything happening to begin with. How does our universe being different from the one we interact with at the Crystal Pool explain this?
