Losing the rock typing helps alot for defensive typing, but I think Steel is still shit for defense, even moreso now with it no longer resisting dark.
Then, despite his decent attack stat, he can't hit things all that hard without some serious investment and/or setup. (I've thought about curse/resttalk but that leaves you with horrible coverage and still plenty of ways to get REKT)
