>>34177898It went wrong when gamefreak realized that quality had become optional. When they realized they could churn out absolute trash and people would gobble it up anyways. The series won't die, it's too powerful to die. But it won't be good. not for a long while. The switch games will be the last nail in the coffin in terms of the games ever being good. If Nintendo (which don't forget, owns the majority of TPC in case you feel like getting swarmy with me) doesn't make gamefreak get their shit together and make a high quality game for the switch, then all hope is lost.
