As for the overcentralizing in team building, this is something due to how retarded Smogon is in using always the same shit. Yeah, I get it, people use what is good. But holy crap, have fun then fighting billions of Talonflame, Azumarill, Rotom, and so on.
And talking of limiting your team building, the motherfucking smogonbird; this thing is cancer. Every single smogonfag uses it, and if your team doesn't have at least one counter to it, it's deemed as shit.
In a nutshell, that's why I quitted playing on Smogon during this gen. It's even more stable and annoying than last gen, and I fucking hated the weather wars.
