Considering Pokemon do have instincts, it's usually not too long (ie the longest I think it'd be is like a month for becoming a Dratini or some other weird shit with no limbs and a totally different way of moving around), but moves take way longer and often require a tutor. Some of the more basic ones are instinct, like a normal scratch would probably just become Scratch if the pokemon doing it knew the move, but stuff like spitting fire or even a Thunder Shock would need consistent and significant training
