Let's not forget

G/S/C were flawed games and their remakes are extremely overrated, people just overlook the downgrades and the fact that they had the opportunity to fix the most pressing issues and decided not to do it

GSC is better unless you enjoy NPCs constantly interrupting you and blocking your path throughout the entire game. Johto was made to be an open sandbox, HGSS killed it.

Nope, Nob didn't work on HGSS. Also the line was different in the Japanese versions, not just the English versions.

At least you admit HGSS is a weaker game.

I'll just sum up all things that went wrong with remakes:
1. Pic related
2. Ugly redesigns (pretty much all named characters and Pokemon like Raikou)
3. Fucked up remixes (Goldenrod City, National Park, surfing theme, Kanto battle themes)
4. Broken GS Sounds
5. Cucked Game Corner because "muh kids shouldn't play slots"
6. Cucked text (for example the old man in front of Celadon Gym is no longer a pedo)
There's probably more but these easily come to mind

If you're considering it then I prefer Crystal, HGSS added a bunch of handholding that wasn't in the original.

Also Crystal's spritework is better quality, all the Pokemon images in HGSS are of the lame "two frames plus hardware transforms" variety.
