Near a familiar town, a troublesome trio takes eye. They watch as the people live their daily lives, walking to and fro from building to building. The smartest of the trio, dressed in his fitting lab attire, flips through his neatly written notes on the town, and he lets out quiet hmms and ahhs. He starts to jot down anything that intrigues him.
"Ooh, very interesting. I was sure this town would be less busy during this time of day, but it appears to be very bustling! Very interesting, indeed. I wonder if the people here..." he trails off into personal thought while he excitedly looks back and forth between the town and his notes. His much shorter companion, the leader of the trio, grins as he eyes his new prey. He chuckles to himself, ecstatic about being able to scam a fresh group of suckers.
"The more people, the more profit, sock-for-brains. Maybe this town'll cough up the dough easier than those other jerks..." he grimaces as the thought of his recent failure pops into his mind. "How long do we haveta stay out here, anyway? Let's just hurry up and scam 'em." he growls, his foot tapping impatiently. His sock hatted friend looks at him exhaustedly.
"Now, now. Just be patient, Eddy. If we go in without any information, we'll only fail. And you wouldn't want that to happen again, do you?" he peers at Eddy, who now has a scowl on his face.
"Ugh, fine. Hurry up and gather your stupid info. Ed and I are gonna go make fun of these dumb Pokemon. Come on, lumpy." He grabs his larger, less...intelligent friend, Ed, by the collar and starts to drag him towards a group of Slowpokes.
