Though many things like a lot of the assets and the engine are already done thanks to XY, the remakes have to factor in and integrate like three generations worth of Pokemon and other things and mechanics from them on top of taking some liberties and brand new shit in the process, FRLG and HGSS had to catch up with only two generations each. Like holy fuck, ORAS does have a ton of catchable Pokemon from every region in the game.
Personally some complaints I'd agree with are the lack of difficulty and lack of change in scenery. Hoenn still looks unnaturally blocky as hell, XY not so much since they were originally built around the engine.
How many of you actually liked more than half of the Emerald Frontier's facilities?
