>>34942909>By that I mean there's no legit way of knowing why the artist left out the detail. It's because they were clumsy. You don't draw an otherwise completely detailed image of a Pokemon swimming complete with a water background and then forget a spot on its foot that the fucking reference sheet itself even points out.
>Because of the Popplio reference sheet (among others)I already explained why the Popplio counterpoint is piss poor and doesn't work. Read the thread. You can't draw every detail on a Pokemon if the artwork itself is tiny and the details aren't the point of the what that particular section of the reference art is trying to convey. I don't need to draw the detail on Naganadel's wings or color it in because it's the image is tiny and it's not the point of the reference. The point is to show how it uses poison attacks. Drawing every detail just muddles what concept I'm trying to communicate. Meanwhile on the shit platypus fakemon EVERYTHING ELSE is fully detailed, including the background, and the artwork doesn't even show how it's legs are supposed to move while swimming or anything. It's just a sloppy piece of artwork conveniently missing a spot on its foot.
>>34942916No, they're not real, fortunately.
