Next-most picked is almost always Dark, usually accompanied by an ironic sentence about edginess, then some /fit/poster and his Fighting team cuz he's sooo strong, and finally some nerds who pick Rock or Steel. These types come out almost every thread.
Nobody ever picks Electric, and Ghost and Water are both wayyyy less popular than I always expect. Just some observations.
Anyway, I've always liked Fire. I guess because the mons just seem the most useful to me; lighting torches and campfires, cooking food, keeping me warm. Hella comfy. Seems like the ideal type to commit to if you're looking to travel in the Pokémon world. That, and Arcanine is my favorite.
