Really though, we all know Leaf (FRLG) won't ever be back in the main series games. The version used in Let's Go is basically Green from Special, who has an actual personality.
The design (FRLG) is also kind of ugly and boring. Man do I wish it was a cute tomboy we got instead. Would've been much more memorable and actually fun to play as.
