Specifically, completing the pokedex. I currently have a classic DS and a 3DSXL, but not a game to my name. (My old emerald is around here somewhere but I cannot seem to find it). From what I understand, you don't need event legendaries for full dex completion, which is nice because obviously I have no hope of getting any of those.
However, what would I need to complete all of the pokedex myself? Would the transfer methods available be sufficient if I got Emerald, Fire Red or Leaf Green, Platinum, and Black or White (2?)? Would I be able to do it with just my 3DS and DS?
