Guess why he is getting sidelaned now after the croc/cat got actual movesets and can at least pretend to hold thier own against others? This feels way more realistic than what we had during JN when a complete beginner like Goh was facing legendaries and multiple strong trainers and did well against them despite not training AT ALL.
