>>23415063This image doesn't prove anything. There's no consistency between the folded wing and the open wing - if you watch the scenes where Zapdos is in flight it just awkwardly glides while the other birds flap and bend their wings.
For more proof, just look at the XY models for the birds, which show them all in midair. Moltres and Articuno are both holding themselves up well. Zapdos just looks so awkward with how its wings are attached to its body.
