>>34368074If Gen 8 is set to improve Pokemon in any conceivable way, it has to be committed to fixing the problems that have been around since fucking generation 1: Limp storyline, version exclusive bullshit, weak post-story content, and completely unbalanced metagame.
Give every fully evolved Pokemon a minimum BST of 500 and let them access every move of their type that isn't a signature move. Make it easier to access stuff like mega stones, move tutors and held items, and then compensate for that by making the storyline battles more challenging. Start using some of those unused type combinations, like Electric/Fighting, Fairy/Dark or Rock/Ghost, to start shaking things up even further. Give us skippable fucking cutscenes, cut out that pointless dialog choice bullshit, ESPECIALLY when the choice doesn't matter and the characters react the same no matter what you pick.
