3DS and upwards need not apply.
best thing about 3DS is that I have all the DS and GBA/GC/GB games on it. Now I never have to worry about batteries dying in my blue cart.
Best thing about new games is when people rom hack the older games to have more pokemon, looking forward to gen 4 being made in gen 5 style, following pokemon, and even some newer pokemon to make my team options bigger.
