All the breeders say they dont know how the egg got there. Obviously that is the game leaving how breeding works ambiguous to young players but if you wanted to ignore that bit of obviousness it is way more likely that an adult breeder talking to a 10 year old trainer is just choosing not to tell a 10 year old child about what sex is. There is nothing explicitly said one way or the other technically but there is way more evidence that pokemon have sex then tje alternative.
