>>44072082>>44072135Pretty much. At his conception in Gen 1 he was one the best Pokémon. He had Solid attack, defenses, and speed and could learn powerful moves through tms. He was all in all a great Pokémon.
But as the Gens progressed, he didn't gain any power. Stats didn't change, his moveset didn't improve outside of a couple (zen headbutt and iron head), intimidate as his primary ability was good but not amazing. Plus outside of Kanto, no one could use him during the main story. By the time Sun and Moon came out and you could use him again, he was already outclassed.
It's sad to see the once powerhouse king being forgotten by GameFreak and the fanbase.
