So I just had it wrong this whole time? I thought generations were labeled by releases of new pokemon, not the order the games were made in? Like I thought let's go games and FRLG were Gen 1, HGSS were Gen 2, ORAS were Gen 3 and BDSP were gen 4. But FRLG were actually Gen 3, HGSS were actually Gen 4, ORAS were actually Gen 6, and BDSP were actually gen 8?
So for 20 years I was going around thinking Gen 1 was 100-151, Gen 2 was 152-251, etc....
I think I might be the biggest idiot in pokemon.
