A Gardevoir may feel uncomfortable about doing some stuff that you may feel comfortable doing. For example: Murder. You may feel happy and excited and full of glee as you hurt and maim someone or something, but they loathe it. They hate every second of it, even though you feel happy about it. Abuse is another thing, you hit your Gardevoir and it makes you feel good but they don't like it and get angry at you or kill your abusive ass.
So yeah, they could be uncomfortable with a lot of things, sex/physical affection included. Talk with them like a good partner would and should to figure out what they are okay with and not okay with.
