I don't even get why people think it looks feminine, but I don't care about the gender, it looks great either way.
I also like that it's slimmer. Usually I don't like nu-pokemon's tendency to this sort of design, like what they did with Pikachu, but even as a kid I disliked Typhlosion's fridge-like build. There was just so much wide, blank space on it's design and it didn't look the best, this really fixes that
