>>54645698Quite a bit has happened since leaving Mistralton City.... With the team reassembled and Hot Tamale taking Twizzler's place (sorry buddy but Bonbon completely outclasses you), we embarked into Twist Mountain. Around midway through, we suffered our first loss against a Battle Girl's Throh who set up a Bulk Up and Revenged Dove, who wasn't strong enough to OHKO it. Her sacrifice allowed Bonbon to quickly avenge her (also the generator format glitched for me so all dark backgrounds are white on white text...). Pop Rocks the Boldore filled her spot soon after. While training for the Icirrus gym battle, Whopper finally ascended to his final form, he had been falling behind a bit so this was very helpful.
>BrycenPop Rocks starts by throwing out some Stealthies while Vanillish sets up Acid Armor, who then Mirror Shots to lower Pop's accuracy. Pop manages to land a Rock Slide, but the fear of a possible Frost Breath led to Hot Tamale switching into another Mirror Shot, who then KO'd with Fire Punch. Beartic was next to go for Brine, which did little to Whopper. Beartic went for Swagger next, but Whopper focused and Brick Broke Beartic's skull. Cryogonal was last and set up a Reflect, but Hot Tamale broke through with Flare Blitz.
Time for all the Plasma plot stuff yay!
>>54671999Tbf you have a lot more options than Pyrope for Candice. All of your Steel types plus Bismuth can be switched to Heat.
>>54668840I stick with the normal catching rule and if I miss out on the mon required to evolve another, then that encounter is useless. Like I missed out on Karrablast in my current run, so I just offed the Shelmet I found in the Moor.
>>54668690Based for giving Chimecho a shot. I would box Lucario since he will just make the game way easier than it already is.
>>54668488Tranquill is pretty underrated at that point in the game, once you can get Return she'll be a pinch hitter. Fingers crossed you find Sandile or Scrafty in Desert Resort.
