Injectors, I'm trying out an experiment. A couple of days ago somebody on /vp/ posted a thread about giving away Beast Ball Porygon over the GTS, and surprisingly enough they were able to. Now, Porygon can't be found in the wild in SM, meaning it shouldn't be able to be in that ball. Even after Bank updates and allows for Porygon in non-standard balls to come to Gen VII, it still can't be in a Beast Ball until another Gen VII game happens at the minimum, assuming said game has wild Porygon.
I want to try see if another mon in the same situation can be rendered to be allowed to be traded online despite not being in a standard Poke Ball, that Pokemon being Carracosta. Tirtouga were available in B2W2's Dream World and thus can legally be in all Poke Balls sans the apricorn and Safari Balls prior to Gen VII, but since they're only available via fossils in SM they can't be in anything but a standard ball until Bank updates.
I've been itching to see if I could raise a Dive Ball Tirtouga as part of my main team, and since that Porygon giveaway has gotten my hopes up I want to see if this QR is as legal as PKHeX makes it out to be.
I've deposited a male, level 25 Araquanid in a Timer Ball, asking for a Carracosta above level 91; the message is "I want to fill my Pokedex" and my IGN is Connor. If anyone is up to it, could they test out this post's QR code and see if the Carracosta it generates will be accepted by the GTS?
