There are certainly some trolls more interested in sticking it to amourshippers than enjoying Misty's limelight, but even if you discount those, people would still be mad at pokeshippers for acting too happy in general. Call it "cockiness" or whatever, but I don't see why anyone should stop enjoying their biggest moment in years just because it offends some other group that feels left out.
