Remember this from an earlier trailer, that's actually as a result of a new Ultra Beast. It's also the one causing the Pokemon to have red eyes and rampage. It managed to challenge Arceus and steal all of his plates completely weakening him, Arceus then used the last of his power to grant someone who he believed had a pure soul the arcphone which can be used to track the UB and give you 100% accurate data on surrounding land. Arceus sits out for most of the game and the UB even manages to control Dialga, Palkia and Garatina. The main antagonist is this UB and in the end you defeat and capture it with the help of Arceus
