you remind me of the kind of loser that says bulbasaur is the best choice in gen 1 because it's strong against the first few gyms. if you need some kind of explicit strategy to 'optimize' your ingame pokemon team, you don't deserve to tell other people how to play the game. it's a braindead easy game and you should pick the ones you like the most because it doesn't make a difference to how easy it is to steamroll everything.
