Same situation, rushed to at leastfarm all the syncs for the avaible freebies before the change, wanted to farm 750 for each Hoenn pair and then pass to legendaries and other 5*. Wpuld have probably finished it weeks and weeks ago if it stayed as it used to be or was singles mining plus current system.
Still 23 pairs done, not terrible at all.
