In-universe however I can't imagine owning a Hatterene that you didn't raise up from a Hatenna. Hand-raised, they might reasonably tolerate the hustle and bustle of a town, but fuck having your "loyal" Pokemon teleport into the middle of a playground and beat children to death because it sensed someone crying a mile away.
