>>46201614>but can buy only 1 gameLook here, OP. Do not buy old Pokemon games. Do not buy current Pokemon games if you don't plan to go online on Switch. >muh cartridge is not an excuse because you can still use multiplayer on old games via fan servers and transfer up to current games while playing them through alternate methods on official hardware. If you insist on playing on a DS model buy a flash cart and load all of DPPt, HGSS, Ranger games, Trozei, BW(2), and Pokemon Typing Adventure onto it. What you should want to do is a get a 3DS so you can load every pokemon nintendo handheld game onto that instead, including Spaceworld '97 and canceled Picross. The Switch can also emulate up to DS fine (and N64 with multi-controller support), and 3DS games are bootable although laggy but getting needed improvements. Playing on a hacked console, whichever you choose, allows multiple save files via save backups, installing the games to the flash cart / system so you don't have to deal with swapping cartridges, loading a copy of your cartridge saves into those installed games, and modding/patching the games for romhacks or improvements such as adding full dex encounters or making trade evolutions possible in single player.
