>>33071898 >>33071903 Tragedy has become opportunity again - I was trying to get some levels on Kanzi the Fearow, who had been falling behind a bit, and took her against a Rocket's Hypno. I was a little reckless and the Hypno got a lucky crit, which spelled her death. I was a little unsure of what to do and originally swapped in a Ponyta I had caught recently before realizing that Ponyta/Rapidash are kinda shit in Gen I. So I just went to the nearest uncaught route to see what I could catch and found Doduo. Turns out that save for like one point of Special and 5 Points of HP, Dodrio is equal or superior to Fearow in every other aspect. So now I've ground up Kiku to around the same level as my others.
...but I am still short the levels of the next Gym by a good 8-10. And I have run through nearly all the available trainers thus far. so idk lol
