Now that all of that is out of the way, how long do you think before Pokémon allows Islamic themes in their games? Religious themes have always been difficult for Nintendo. They seem to avoid them a lot, but this isn't always the case. For example the traditional monks in GSC and HGSS.
Pokémon is a global phenomenon, it's loved by people all over the world. I noticed how much more diverse the games have gotten over the years and I would like to see that continue.
One way to do this is to add a Muslim character.
It doesn't need to be flat-out said that the character is a Muslim, for example giving one gym leader a Hijab would be a good compromise. Or better yet, having a Hijab as a female clothing option.
I would love to see something like this as it would make the world feel Pokémon bigger and give me a character to relate to.
Anyways I just wanted to share my thoughts. As I said before, if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all.
