I wanted to use a theme team like pic related, with rotating slots. I have Luxray/ Pyroar/ Liepard and Ursaring/ Pangoro/ Beartic teams from Y that I like to use for triple battles. I have a sea theme team from AS which had Swampert/ Garchomp/ Crustle/ Elektross/ Dragalgae/ Malamar which I used to beat the story and for online. I have a Nidoking which was my first perfect IV breeding project in Y which I use to build team comps around. I want to bring all of those to Galar, but only half of those made it in. This wouldn't bother me as much if the game looked stellar, but it doesn't live up to the expectations I have from a franchise that has had since 1996 to grow and develop its gameplay. That said, I knew this day would come, I just dislike that on top of the cull and lackluster polish in the game, that HOME is going to profit off my desire to preserve those Pokemon out of sunk cost and some quasi emotional value. It's greedy, and my disdain for those business practices outweigh my desire to play the next installment in a franchise. At that point I have to ask myself, am I really playing a game I enjoy, or am I just being exploited for spending my time on it?
