Shuckle is a good choice. It can at least run a gimmick set well enough in Showderp.

When she said her Pokémon was sick I thought it was going to be the reason to fight her at the end of Victory Road (there was no fight there), now I feel really sad for her because she was a very nice rival.
Her team now consists of Lv. 49 Marowak, Lv. 52 Pidgeot, Lv. 52 Golem, Lv. 51 Scizor, Lv. 51 Blissey, and surprisingly a Lv. 55 Celebi. Yup, no Raichu in sight.
Upon defeating her, she congratulates me (dialogue in pic), my mother and Prof. Koa appear to congratulate me, and we're registered into the Hall of Fame as the new Champion. The hack never took itself seriously and never acted like it needed to, but I really like the sincerity of the congratulations given to me for becoming Champion. Gives me a fuzzy feeling.
Still, it's sad to find out my rival didn't meet such a happy end. If only there was a fetch quest where I got medicine for her Raichu like the one with Ampharos in GSC.
