Finished Gold! I won't be doing post-game in any of these games, it's just going to bloat playtime too much.
Ariados got killed by a critical Aurora Beam in Pryce's gym and my poor Quagsire got critical Blizzarded by Pryce's Piloswine. I swapped them out for a Magmar I caught in burnt tower and a Mantine I found surfing to Chuck.
I really ended up liking my team. Quilava to Typhlosion is such an amazing change, from being a frail attacker with a limited moveset to a relatively chunky attacker with great coverage. Mantine's special bulk is no joke, tanked Houndoom's Crunch and Dragonite's Outrage like they were nothing.
