>>42122826>Has your opinion of the Ralts line changed over time? If so, how, and what changed your mind?Kirlia has grown on me recently. It never did much for me before but the animations are super cute. I never disliked them, but just gained more of an appreciation for them recently. Still love all of them a ton of course.
>What other Pokemon do you think pair well with the Ralts line, either in combat or in fun imaginary scenarios? It's always nice to have a Normal type to stop the opponent thinking they can just attack you with Ghost moves. I find my Toxapex meshes particularly well with my Gardevoir though.
>How do you imagine the various physical features of the Ralts line?My headcanon for Gardevoir is that they effectively evolved (original sense, not Pokemon sense) very frail physical bodies after gaining strong psychic powers. Their bodies focus entirely on essentially protecting and emphasizing their Psychic powers (exposed "horn", a large "helmet" which IMO isn't hair but is more like a thick layer of cartilage that is pliable like human ears are) and the parts they stopped using (legs namely) have become thin and simple because they no longer serve a purpose for them. I believe the horn is very hard, like bone or animal horns are.
My headcanon for Gallade specifically is that it's divergent evolution where the males were forced to become physically strong to protect themselves from physical threat, and in doing so evolved stronger bones. Coupled with Psychic manipulation, they strengthed their bones in specific places which caused them to grow strong blades as weapons. I guess the hip shape would probably help them strengthen their legs similarly, which the species was otherwise slowly developing away from.
>Are their any particular off-model designs you like, or any features you find immediately offputting? Not "off-model" strictly but I love the look of the "horn" in the Pokken model.
