I don't mind blockades, but this nonsense really broke my immersion, or whatever. I could just feel the developers lazily copy pasting these NPCs in a line because they just didn't feel like doing a little bit of extra work. Almost everything else people nitpick can be excused, but this is a veritable, albiet small stain on a top tier Pokemon game.
