>>33468825>>33468968Same here lads, after a couple years mulling it over I've come to the conclusion that these kinds of people hate themselves and rely on their partner for any scraps of joy that can be leeched from them. If the partner isn't totally perfect they will lose their shit and try to correct their behavior through any means necessary, which they can justify to themselves since they've already accepted that they themselves are terrible people. They think that the only way they can be happy is for some magical person to 'rescue' them and don't consider that they should develop the ability to live on their own and love themselves.
Not gonna say that the disaster of a relationship was entirely her fault, I'm to blame for being such a pussy and allowing it to go on for months and months, think I swore to my self that if it went on for more than a year I would an hero but thankfully I didn't let it get to that point.
Then again I'm not psychologist, this is just my shitty irl headcanon
