I wouldn’t probably be too serious in battling or contests, but I’d definitely be on the lookout for some other trainer to trade with and then trade back so I could evolve them. Chilling out in Alola seems like a popular choice but is also totally be fine just exploring Unova or Kalos too with my partner Pokémon.
As for what Pokémon I turn into for the next anon, I guess I’m now a Noibat. Hopefully they’ll feed me plenty of berries as treats
