there was stuff that was on the docket at one point, but it ended up getting cut for unknown reasons
the original SM are worthy "final products" , for sure, but they could've added more to them and some places in the games felt conspicuously lacking, almost as if something is absent, e.g. the construction sites
in other words, while SM are complete, they're not as complete as they could've been. USUM is thus getting released to fill in the blanks, or so i figure
