Daniel was getting into a groove of things, but was quickly startled by a Grimer moving to attack. He quickly thumbed his Pokeballs as he made a decision on who to use. He didn't have time for this, and since it was a sewer anyway, a little mud wouldn't be an issue. Daniel hadn't battled in a while, but it shouldn't prove too hard.
"Let's go Clamp."
Daniel let out his Kingler who moved into position to counter the Grimer. The Kingler looked like it was about to jump into the sewer water for advantage, but realized it was a sewer and stopped herself.
"Mudshot."
Daniel gave a simple command as Kingler opened its mouth and let loose a torrent of heavy mud towards the Grimer.
