I like gourgeist because of the halloween theme it has. I've always liked the goofy, cartoony side of halloween, and that's basically what this thing is. I love how it's themed around trick or treating. Tries to learn the move several times, has abilities such as Pick-up and frisk, and even insomnia for staying up late to get that extra candy (Though admittedly I do wish it had something better for competitive)
Also love the fact it comes in different sizes with actual stat variations, plus, since it's a jack o' lantern, it learns stuff like fire blast, which most grass types don't usually get.
