Fuck around with some new Pokemon or other Pokemon getting it's spotlight, Team Rocket shows up, does stupid shit to try to acquire Pokemon/Ash's Pikachu. They get defeated and get sent off in some silly way. Rinse and repeat. For twenty god damn years.
It would be bearable if the MC was at least competent but he STILL fucks up type matchups. It's annoying as shit to watch some dumbfuck make the same god damn mistakes for decades. Mistakes that even children wouldn't make.
