Why do pokemon players constantly complain about superficial features that arent an inherent detriment to the game. Following pokemon and the natdex dont improve the gameplay while playing the campaign. You never see Zelda fans complain that Tinkle isnt in BOTW or Mario fans complaining about the lack of waluigi. They complain about the lack of different enemies or movement options. Things that IMPACT the gameplay. Fans should complain about the dungeon and route design, the dullness of cities and the lack of sidecontent instead of nostalgiafagging about the gamecorner.

Go in a Legends thread and look at the complaints

The criticism should be about the gameplay and should be more specific.
>vibrant towns or settlements
>weather system
>turf wars
>physics system
>intrinsically or extrinsically rewarding exploration
>fun and quick traversal like mounting pokemon instead of wanting rehashed Amie animations
>pokemon should interact dynamically with the world and the player instead of mindlessy walking around

Yes because it's super lame Onix didn't get some movie-quality attacking in because of dreamworld bullshit.
I was genuinely upset when I realized Phanpy was just gonna body Onix with a damn rollout that hadn't even had a chance to build yet. It seemed like the point of the scene was for her to ramp up the dreamworld bullshit with each progressing Pokemon but then Misty did just fine for the 2/3 we saw.
